Founded in 2017, Ambitlocker is a Danish tech company specializing in digital management systems for locking units.

A radio-controlled padlock which - after entering the pin - sends the information to the cloud about whether the padlock has been opened or not. In addition, the user can configure the padlock from the web application. The device allows changing and assigning codes when the need arises. During the Ambitlocker project, we used the most innovative, proven and high-performance radio technology LoRaWAN which is used in many other Grinn solutions. LoRaWAN is a long-range wireless communication system, intended primarily for communication applications between IoT devices.

We were responsible for creating the hardware part of the Ambitlocker device - PCB design to compose the electronic factors in a compressed and profitable way. Grinn engineers also were involved in creating the device application and conducting the testing. The hardware of the solution was designed using LoRaWAN and Bluetooth technologies, improving security with LoRa technology’s capabilities (long-range, low-power, open standard and low cost) to make Ambitlocker more innovative and attractive for the customers, who operate the lock with just four control buttons and have full access control.
