Grinn Test Add-on connects to the Synaptics® Coralboard™, extending the development platform with tools for display interface testing, firmware debugging, status indication, and power monitoring.
It features a four-lane DSI-to-HDMI 1.4 interface based on the LT9611 converter, a two-port USB 2.0 hub with an on-board CP2102N-A02 USB-to-UART bridge, four individually controlled LEDs, and a controllable buzzer. Four INA4230 current-shunt monitors measure 15 Coralboard power rails. The bridge can also pull the Coralboard USER and RESET button signals low, which gives boot-mode and reset control from the host PC.
The board mounts below the Synaptics® Coralboard™ on four integrated standoffs. It connects through a 22-pin DSI connector and spring-loaded pogo contacts.
For developers working with the Synaptics® Coralboard™, the add-on is a practical tool for board bring-up, validation, and development work.
