In this project, a unique method of determining a vehicle’s motion was developed, as it is only after the vehicle stops and the engine is turned off that the system will send you a reminder about parking payment. Wusaa sends a notification when it’s time to change the battery, when to cease parking payments after the car has started moving, and automatically changes the time from summer to winter and vice versa.

Wusaa is sold on the Scandinavian market, where winters are cold and summers hot. Since the device is placed against the windshield, it is subject to direct heat from sunlight and frost in winter. We have made sure that Wusaa works flawlessly even at extreme temperatures. In addition, the device draws minimal power; Wusaa runs for a minimum of three years without a battery change.

During its development, we were responsible for embedded software design, hardware design, component selection, schematic development, PCB layout, and automatic tester production. In addition to product development, Grinn constructed the automatic production tester, which allows you to simultaneously test 8 devices without human involvement, which significantly speeds up testing during production. Grinn has also helped organize the production of an enclosure and sourced a reliable manufacturer with an excellent level of quality.
