For the Airtame wireless screen sharing device, Grinn developed a Power over Ethernet (PoE) to USB adapter that provides Ethernet connection to the Airtame device. This multi-functional adapter not only sends data without your WiFi network loading, but also powers the Airtame device and connects to the display screen’s HDMI. Easy installation process and no maintenance costs – you can use your existing Ethernet cable. LAN speed is up to 1000M using the USB 2.0 port.
Airtame offers innovative solutions for hybrid conferencing, screen sharing, and digital signage, creating a more streamlined and interactive shared screen experience.
Grinn was tasked with the hardware development of the Airtame PoE Adapter. The powering accessory uses the same custom cable that comes with the Airtame 2 product to provide both power and drive data to the device. The device makes wireless screen sharing and digital signage easy to use and maintain in offices and schools. Grinn also developed the production tester which is used to secure quality in mass production.
Using Airtame with the PoE Adapter frees up your WiFi traffic and gives you a stable, fixed connection between the Airtame and the local network. Grinn worked alongside the client, using our hardware-oriented expertise and extensive technical knowledge to design a reliable, efficient and convenient solution.
We tasked Grinn with the hardware development of the Airtame PoE Adapter. Grinn engineers also worked with Airtame to develop the production tester which is used to ensure a high quality in mass production. The team at Grinn was able to integrate select hardware components in our design using a quality-centric approach and provide a lot of flexibility to us as a customer when producing this hardware accessory. The Airtame PoE Adapter has improved our product porfolio offering, and our ability to offer setup flexibility to our customers
